The Gallery is open each week Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. The hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. For the warmer months our receptions will be in the evenings instead of during mid-day. For the "Apples and Oranges" show, the reception will be at the Gallery on Saturday, July 16 from 5 to 7 p.m. Don't forget to tell your family and friends about our artist-run gallery.
We are so excited about our move to the Armory Marketplace. The last show at the cottage will be our juried art show, "Pictures at an Exhibition" from Sep 2 through Oct 30. The first show at the new gallery will be our November/December Holiday Art Show, "Around the World" from Nov 4 through Dec 23.
The Armory space is much larger, actually three times larger than at the cottage. We must find resources to pay for more lights, displays, equipment, and other items needed to make the space into an art gallery.
If you want to help us furnish this space, we've installed a "Donate" button at the top of this page to make it easy to donate to this cause. The button will take you to PayPal which has been operating an online payment system since 1998. If you're new to PayPal, you'll have to set up an account with them. Once the account is set up, using PayPal in the future, you won't have to enter your credit card info again.
Instructions for members to exhibit in our Gallery bimonthly shows are sent by email or postal mail. Follow instructions carefully. Entry forms for our shows are also available for downloading from our Gallery page.
As a benefit to our artists, our HAA website includes an Artists Directory. To add your artwork and information to the Directory, send to the HAA webmaster one jpg or png file at least 400 to 500 pixels wide. Also list your Media, Subject Matter, Website, and Facebook address in your email. If you do commission work, list the types of commissions you do. If you sell prints, note cards, and giclees, etc., also mention that. You may add a short paragraph or two about yourself and your artwork. (See examples from artists already listed there.) If you prefer, you may send your information by postal mail to the webmaster. If you want to discuss with the webmaster what to send, please call me.
