We are a non-profit organization dedicated to the promotion of the fine arts in Harford County. Our Gallery is now open at 37 N. Main St, Bel Air, Md in the Armory Marketplace - Suite 104 - and features over 130 paintings and photographs as well as many other artisan-crafted items. Stop by and enjoy our artwork and our beautiful, new gallery, brought together by our own members. The only items not completed by our members are the painting of the walls and floor and installation of the new LED lighting. You must come and see the gallery. Tell your family, friends and neighbors about our artist-run gallery.
If you want to help us financially, we've installed a "Donate" button at the top-left of this page. Thank you.
Girls Night Out (GNO) was created by the Bel Air Downtown Alliance to encourage women of all ages to shop, dine and explore historic Downtown Bel Air. It’s an evening to enjoy extended shopping hours in the various specialty boutiques and dine in the restaurants and pubs. GNO will be held every 3rd Thursday of the month. With the move to Main Street, we thought this is the perfect time to expand HAA's relationship with the Bel Air Downtown Alliance. Look for special events to be listed here.
Did you notice that we will be open until 8 pm on Dec 15? Girls Night Out is having their last event for the year. Their “Wine Down” event on that evening will be held at our gallery between 5 and 6 pm where they will serve wine and light edibles. They’ll also provide music. We will be the hosts. This is a great opportunity for visitors to learn about HAA and all that we offer.
Instructions for members to exhibit in our Gallery bimonthly shows are sent by email or postal mail. Follow instructions carefully. Entry forms for our shows are available for downloading from our Gallery page.
As a benefit to our artists, our HAA website includes an Artists Directory. To add your artwork and information to the Directory, send to the HAA webmaster one jpg or png file at least 400 to 500 pixels wide. Also list your Media, Subject Matter, Website, and Facebook address in your email. If you do commission work, list the types of commissions you do. If you sell prints, note cards, and giclees, etc., also mention that. You may add a short paragraph or two about yourself and your artwork. (See examples from artists already listed there.) If you prefer, you may send your information by postal mail to the webmaster. If you want to discuss with the webmaster what to send, please call me.
