Harford Artists’ Gallery is Free and Open to the Public

The Gallery hosts 2D and 3D Art by local Harford County Artists for view and purchase.  Come in today to enjoy local landscapes, themed shows, and inspired works.  Bring home your favorite piece or that one work that just speaks to you. Or, find the perfect, unique anniversary or any-day gift for a loved one or colleague and know that your purchase goes directly to supporting local Harford Artists!

10 am – 4 pm

All visitors are welcome to tour the Gallery during normal operating hours.

The HAA gallery is also receptive to private tours for youth groups, schools (primary and secondary) and senior citizens (Gallery is ADA compliant).  Other special interest groups are always welcome.

Contact the Gallery Coordinator if you’re interested in a private or large group guided tour; all tours are free.

Directions to Gallery

The HAA Gallery is located in Suite 104 of the Armory Marketplace behind the historic Reckord Armory, 37 N. Main Street in the Town of Bel Air business district.

Access can be gained by the bricked walkway on the side of the Armory through Ward Park or through the gate to the parking lot on Lee Street.

Also, metered parking is available on Main Street; parking is free after 5 pm and on weekends. There are several lots with varying parking time limits throughout the town (click here for Public Parking Guide).



Workshops & Events

The HAA gallery has a work room that can accommodate 10 – 15 people for small, private workshops for youth groups, schools (primary and secondary) and senior citizens (Gallery is ADA compliant).  Other special interest groups are also welcome.  If interested in conducting a workshop, please contact the Gallery.

Satellite Locations

Satellite Location is a local Harford County business that has welcomed an agreement with the Harford Artists’ Association to offer their walls as an “Exhibit” space. HAA Satellite Locations provide our members the opportunity to display their artwork for sale at local businesses in Harford County, helping us bring local art to the community.

Community Outreach

Harford Artists’ Association is dedicated to promoting the Visual Arts and Giving Back in Harford county through our Community Outreach activities. Find out more about what we’re doing in the community and how you can help, here!

Scholarships

The Harford Artists’ Scholarship was established in 2012 and offers a $500 scholarship annually for student(s) enrolled in the Art and Design Program at Harford Community College. Awards may be applied to tuition, fees, and books. Portfolio submission is reviewed by Art and Design faculty. Contact the Harford Community Financial Aid Office for portfolio requirements. Recipient must attend one Harford Artists’ Association meeting.

Selection Criteria:

  • Full-time enrollment required (12+ credits per semester)
  • Financial need not considered (FAFSA not required)
  • Requires one letter of recommendation
  • Enrollment in Art and Design Fine Art AA Program
