Call for Volunteers!

With the restart of events, we are looking for volunteers to head up committees as well as to be a part in helping out. The following is a list of positions we are looking to fill. Please remember that other than the Gallery Associates, the entire organization is volunteer run! Even if all you can do is help out for an hour or two at one event, please consider volunteering.

Needed positions:
  • Event Director: Oversee and schedule events including major fundraisers for the organization. Appoint event coordinators to head each individual event and help find event committee members as well as work with event committee
  • Event volunteers: Help event director with details of events throughout the year. May include setting up for event and clean up after.
  • Workshop Coordinator: coordinate all requests for workshops and/or find people to hold workshops. Set up workshops on HAA Facebook page as an event and liaise with webmaster to have workshops posted to website. Must be present at all workshops as Association rep to open/close Gallery and make sure rules are followed. This does not have to be just one person!
  • Webmaster: Receive content update requests from the Board; implement changes to the information and resources posted to our website through the Word Press dashboard.
  • Development Director: A new prospective position; description coming soon!
  • Volunteer Coordinator: A newly available position; description coming soon!
If you cannot commit to handling the position “full time”, maybe you’d like to volunteer to be the back up?  A second person who could work on the website or someone to help handle the accounts payable and receivable is always welcome!

Any and all individuals are encouraged to let us know what help you can provide. Please contact our Gallery Associate during Gallery hours at 410.420.9499 or Mary Anne any time at haapresident@artinharford.org.

Gallery Change Out Information

BE ADVISED Gallery Change Out Drop off/pickup procedures require that you make an appointment. All paperwork and tagging should be done before you get to the Gallery.  A link to sign up for an appointment to bring your 2D or 3D artwork to the gallery is posted under the Sign-Up Genius section, below.

It is very important you pick up your artwork even if you are not participating in the new exhibit. We have artwork not only from the current exhibit but from 4 of the satellites as well. We do not have the room to store this much art.

Please stay healthy and safe!
