About HAA

Background

Harford Artists was organized in 1967 and incorporated in 1970. We are a non-profit organization dedicated to the promotion of the fine arts in Harford County. Our focus is on service to the art community in the belief that this best serves the community at large.

Harford Artists Association, Inc. is supported by a grant from the Maryland State Arts Council and the Harford County government through the Harford County Cultural Arts Board.

Meetings

Our members meet monthly from September through May. Meetings feature lectures, critiques and demonstrations open to the public. Shows, exhibitions and workshops are presented throughout the year.

Harford Artists Gallery

Harford Artists GalleryOur association rents the caretaker's cottage on the grounds of Rockfield Manor from the Town of Bel Air. This cottage houses our Gallery and administrative offices. Juried member shows are held every month. See the Gallery/Studio page for details.

Membership

You do not have to be an artist to join Harford Artists Association, just click on "Membership Application" to the right to go to our membership page.

All members will receive a "Membership Book" which will have all of the information needed for a member to effectively use the services of our association.

Newsletter

Members receive a pdf copy of our Newsletter by email. There are lots of ways to show your artwork so read about them in our newsletter and take advantage of these opportunities.

HAA Video List

Our Video and DVD collection resides in the office downstairs in our Gallery. We rent these items to members via the honor system. Members will find instructions at the gallery for leaving your rental fee and signing out these materials. View the PDF listing of the videos here.
